Four-Season Community Space

The purpose of Chalet & Moor is to utilize a site that traditionally is unused. Sitting on a hill the building mimics the levels of the land, creating challenge but leading to a unique view upon entry.
During the winter months the Chalet portion of the name comes out. Acting as a warming house with seating and snacks, this Chalet offers skate rentals and maintains a portion of the Red River for skaters to enjoy. A fireplace is featured for community get together and additional warming.
Summer brings the Moor. With 2 garages and oversized main floor storage this building is an upgrade to the Fargo-Moorhead kayak and canoe rentals that currently operates a few blocks away out of a small residential shed. Chalet & Moor offers shuttle rides to 3 different stopping points along the Red River
